4 Keywords and Titles
One final thing is necessary before your images can be
included in our online stock photo library. It is essential
that your images carry all the information necessary
for them to be found in internet and library searches.
If you have opted not to process your images with title,
encrypted caption and keywords,
we will perform this process for you for a 12% fee on
future sales. Because this involves additional work on
our part it may delay the uploading of your images to
the site by a few days. Keywords and Title are very important
in getting your images found not only within the website,
but also globally through the search engines. We have
considerable experience and expertise in promoting to
search engines which will ensure that if your images
are adequately tagged they should enjoy a better than
average prominence with engines such as Google. If you
are providing all this information yourself you may like
to study our image
tagging guidelines, before processing your
images.
5 Inclusion in Stock Photography UK's online catalogue
Once your images have satisfied all requirements and carry
all the necessary information, the smaller images for
website viewing will be watermarked and added to the
digital image gallery in online catalogue and made available
to buyers.
We may also ask you to provide a personal profile to further
promote your name and individual portfolio online.
